Message From the Head of Secondary

As the first two weeks of the term comes to an end, and as we enter the Eid celebration, I think it is fitting to reflect on how the new academic year has begun.

I am pleased to be able to tell you that learning started virtually immediately on Sunday 28th August after tutor time and a welcome assembly. Students were engaged, challenged and eager to build upon their learning to make further progress this year.

Although early in the term, something immediately apparent is the friendliness of our community. Students, parents and staff are so welcoming, helpful and kind; it is one mark of a mature community when people exchange greetings and a smile throughout the day- and we do so in abundance! My interactions with students have been wholly positive and I am eager to get to know more of them as the term progresses.

Eid Mubarak to all our families.
