Message from Head of Primary

Much has been written about the ingredients required in order to make an outstanding school. If it were as simple as following a system or process with quantifiable criteria, many schools would achieve this. Schools would simply follow a model and tick boxes, satisfying all of the criteria outlined. They would include some non-negotiables such as academic progress, kindness, respect, compassion, diversity, inclusiveness as well as encouraging students to be curious and inquisitive. The list could be endless.

However, a list is all it is. The relationship between the students, their teachers and adults in the school is key to how successful the student and school will be. In order to achieve this, we are currently in the process of recruiting more outstanding teachers for the next academic year through attending a Nord Anglia Education recruitment event in London. The response Worldwide to our advertised vacancies has been encouraging with many high-quality candidates being interviewed with a view to becoming part of our special community. We look forward to introducing you to our new staff in the coming months and welcoming them into our community.
