International Week: Parade Of Nations and International Festival

On Thursday 1st February 2018 our International Day will be celebrating the cultural diversity of our school.

Students will be invited to take part in a ‘Parade Of Nations,’ followed by an International Family Event, hosted by our PTA. Students are invited to come to school on this day dressed in a national costume or colours of the flag of their country.

Parents will have the opportunity to come to school to view the parade and visit country stalls to enjoy their food and more. This is a great opportunity to experience the different cultures of many of the countries represented at our school.

Students from FS1 & FS2 will take part in the ‘Parade Of Nations’ between 11am – 11.30am. Parents are invited to watch the parade taking place on the field at this time, and students can then be collected by parents from classrooms after 11.45am.

Students from Year 1 – Year 13 will participate in the ‘Parade Of Nations’ between 12 00 noon – 1 00pm. Parents are invited to watch the parade taking place on the field at this time. At the end of the parade at 1pm, parents can collect their children from the field to enjoy the International Family Event.

Parents can expect to receive a letter and permission slip this week with important information regarding the Parade Of Nations and Food Festival. Please complete a slip for each of your children and return to school no later than Monday 29th January.

Please note that all students will still need to bring a packed lunch to school on this day, as normal school lunches will not be available on this day.
