International week is always a great way for the many nationalities in our school to come together and learn about each other’s countries and customs.
In FS2, each class was given a country to learn about for the week. We learned about the many different traditions from our countries and we took part in many activities which also helped us to decorate our doors. We learnt dances, tried food, created artwork, learnt languages and much more!!
All children were given a passport in order to visit other FS2 classes where they took part in a variety of activities involving Canada, United Kingdom, India and Ghana. We also made our own flags to represent our many different nationalities.
On Wednesday we took the children to look at all of the door decorations in FS2, they were then able to vote for their favourite. We ended the week with our amazing International Day Parade where the children proudly waved their country flags and showed of their costumes for the parents watching.
