Election at BIS

Students from Year 8 and 12 organized a BIS version of the US election. Students were put into three groups, two representing the two main political parties and one representing the media, and they spent the last week organizing their campaigns, putting up posters, talking to tutor groups and making ballot papers.

The vote took place during lunch time on Tuesday 8th November (same day as the real election) and was well attended by students and staff across the secondary school.

Here are the final results, could this be similar to the real election?

Clinton – 137
Trump – 111
None of the above – 78
