Kenken International Championship 2017

Kenken International Championship 2017

Kenken is a world famous mathematical puzzle, and is featured in top publications like The New York Times, The Times, Spiegel, Gakken etc. Students participating in this championship will go through three rounds: School Level, Emirates Level, and National Level. The top winners at the National Level will get an all-expense paid trip to New York, representing U.A.E for the International title.

Last week BIS Abu Dhabi, was proud to host the School Level round for Kenken International Championship 2017. We had 37 BIS students from Year 3 to 13 take on the challenge. Over the weekend we had some Fantastic news, 30 of our 37 students went through to the next round!

This is an amazing achievement and they will now compete in September against students from all the other schools in Abu Dhabi in the Emirates Round Level.
